Bjork's Efforts to Raise Awareness of Environmental Issues

Bjork's efforts to raise awareness of environmental issues in her native Iceland have paid off - more than 25,000 people have signed a petition since her three-day karaoke marathon kicked off. The singer was angry to discover plans for a Canadian takeover of Iceland's energy company HS Orka, insisting the country's natural resources should remain under Icelandic control, and she backed a petition for a referendum on the issue.

She vowed to gain more signatures by staging a three-day karaoke contest, which kicked off on Thursday, January 6 - and the amount of names backing the cause has increased from 21,000 on Thursday to 46,800 on Monday, January 10.

Campaign leader Oddny Eir Aevarsdottir says, "It's nice to wake up and see that more than 46,000 have signed the petition."

A new Funny or Die video has paid tribute to one of today's hit shows, "Glee". Getting support from the series' cast like Heather Morris, Matthew Morrison, Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera, the video starts with Sofia Vergara and other girls discussing about their favorite "Glee" characters.

Then Heather spits the verses of "Nuthin' but a Glee Thang" with the beat of Dr. Dre's "Nuthin' But a 'G' Thang" while Matthew, Cory and Naya are featured dancing to the song. Towards the end of it, Heather takes a jab at another teen drama series, shouting "F**k you, 'Gossip Girl'."

A concept of this "Glee"-themed Funny or Die video was brought up by Heather in May last year to producer David Bernad, who proposed the idea of including Sofia as a "Glee" fan. They shot it over a two-month period.

"Glee" will next pay tribute to Michael Jackson with "Thriller" performance in the February 6 episode. Also, Katy Perry, Black Eyed Peas, Destiny's Child and Lady Antebellum songs will be featured in the episode.

The executors of Michael Jackson's estate have begun legal proceedings to force Alejandra Jackson and her children to move out of the family mansion. Jackson matriarch Katherine previously asked her former daughter-in-law, who has two sons by ex-husband Jermaine Jackson and another two kids with Randy Jackson, to leave the Hayvenhurst estate in Encino, California.

But Alejandra refused to relocate with the children - and now estate co-executors John Branca and John McClain have filed legal papers asking a judge to order her out of the property. The papers, filed at Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, January 6, state that Alejandra and her kids are not beneficiaries of the King of Pop's will and therefore have no claim to the house, reports TMZ.com.

The Jacksons reportedly want to renovate the sprawling property, but Alejandra is halting proceedings by remaining at the house.

Actor Kristoffer Polaha and his actress wife Julianne Morris are celebrating a new addition to their family, after welcoming a baby over the weekend. "Life Unexpected"'s Polaha, 33, and soap star Morris, 42, welcomed their third son on Sunday, January 2 morning, E! Online reports.

The couple, which married in 2003, are already parents to Caleb, six, and Michah, four. The actor posted a message on his Facebook page on January 2, "It's 1:25 Sunday morning, I ain't up because of a new years eve party. Hmmmmm. Can anyone say baby?"

This comes as a good news for Polaha whose new TV show is being canceled by The CW. Although there is yet an official word from the network, Polaha's co-star Shiri Appleby wrote back in November, "I hate to bring the bad news but our little show is coming to an end. The cast, crew, and I thank you for all your support these past two years. It's been a little slice of heaven!"
